12th February 2012. Ann Pettway admitted to stealing a baby from a hospital in New York City in 1987. The victim was Carlina White who had suspected that she was not really a part of the family that she was raised in by Ann Pettway. White conducted her own investigation and put the pieces together to solve her own kidnapping case. White's birth mother insisted that Pettway spend 23 years in jail, the same amount of time her child was taken from her.
